As executive producer of the Go-To Mom series, producer of the entertainment show www.MommytoMommy.TV, founding partner of Mompulse and author, Kimberley is one busy—and successful—parent.

One of the first common mistakes parents make is getting in to extremes of being too strict or too leienient with children, Blaine explained. “The extreme doesn’t allow children to take responsibility,” she says. “I think a middle of the road is a nice place to be. Where you’re setting your limits and you’re giving your children some freedom.”

Other common parenting mistakes Blaine notes is having the assumption that the way we were parented is the way we should parent our children today and having the inability to see the world through our children’s eyes.
“Sometimes take their point of view and see what the world’s like from their small prospective,” Blaine suggests. “Your relationship will definitely be more strengthened.”
