Women are a force to be reckoned with when it comes to wine, especially when they all come together. Watch Wine Sisterhood’s Mary Ann Vangrin and fellow wine sister, Cassie, talk about why women in wine are so powerful:
The Wine Sisterhood is a Napa-based wine company pioneering the use of social media to develop wine brands through its social network, in which women can join the conversation about wine, food, travel, style and entertaining.
Whereas five to 10 years ago, a female-owned wine company was considered unique, these days, it’s not unusual at all to find women at the helm of wine companies.
“There’s so many more of us,” Cassie said. “I think people are finally starting to get it …. We kind of rule the wine world right now.”
