Mitt Romney officially accepted the Republican Party’s nomination for president at the Republican National Convention in Tampa Tuesday night amid Hurricane Isaac 2012, as wife Ann Romney tried to convince America why her husband is the right man to lead the country. Ann Romney is seen as a secret weapon to try to humanize her husband and make women voters warm up to him, particularly after the recent Rep. Todd Akin controversy and the Democrats arguing their case for a GOP ‘war on women.’
New Hampshire State Rep. Marilinda Garcia is one woman who supports Mitt Romney. Watch the young Republican explain why she supports his vision for America’s future:
“Mitt Romney is very passionate about bringing America back in the direction of, you know what, if you have a dream, if you have a goal, work ethic and ambition, we’re going to try to keep get out of your way,” Garcia says. “We want to help you by letting you help yourself. We want every individual American citizen to be able to flourish and achieve what they want.”

In the Latino community, for example, Garcia said there are often state business organizations and other cultural groups that provide support for small business owners to get their endeavors off the ground. The government just needs to reduce the red tape and regulatory hoops to make sure such businesses get off the ground.
“We’re just trying to keep the economy free but keep it successful so people can create jobs for themselves and others and educate their kids, feed their families, and be able to move up,” Garcia said. “That’s his vision, if I may, and that’s certainly my vision.”
