Romney Can Help ‘Take Our Country Back’ (VIDEO)
Fred Malek is well-known in Republican circles. Having worked for presidents or presidential hopefuls for more than 40 years, Malek now works as a top fundraiser for Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign, is a co-founder of the conservative American Action Network advocacy group and is chairman of one of the Republican Governors Association‘s fundraising arms. ”I think it’s very important that we take our country back and start moving it in the direction of job creation and economic freedom, which is what his campaign is all about.”

Businesses are looking for a number of things this election year. They want easy-to-understand regulations that won’t cost them a lot of money to comply with, and they don’t want policies that erect roadblocks in front of job creation and investment.
“I think what they need more than anything else are some incentives and some tax policies that give them incentives to invest and create more jobs,” Malek said, noting that the U.S. has more than $1 trillion sitting in offshore and corporate balance sheets because American corporations don’t want to bring that money back into this country, since they will have to pay a 35 percent tax on it.

“How about a tax holiday for one year or two years, providing they put that money back into investments in this country?” Malek said. “We need more investment in this country, less regulation, and more freedom to do what they do best.”
