Want to Interact With Your Car? (VIDEO)
A car is one of the largest technology platforms available for consumers to interact with a device. So General Motors is making it possible to interact with your car just as you do with, say, your iPhone.

“Consumers really want to interact,” Henige said, adding that people want to take the experience they have with mobile devices into their vehicles. “We want to sort of enable that experience but also keep it safe.”

Henige also said social media is helping people take back the city of Detroit, bringing both newcomers and Detroit natives back home. It’s great “to see really how the people and the businesses are coming together, but also what the social media is allowing,” she said, in terms of people moving downtown to connect and share their stories. “It’s kind of like we’re taking back our city – it’s kind of fun.”
