Not only is it from a cooking perspective, but also when you eat it, you can taste your family’s heritage. As we are now creating new families in a multi-cultural world. I can still have my Swedish side at the table. You can still take Ethiopian in me. When I’m in Sweden, you can still taste American in me. I think all of have those different sides that we can actually connect, and tell our own stories through food.
