Super Bowl 2012 featured a slew of memorable moments, not least of which included: the Madonna half-time show, singer MIA’s gestures during the halftime show, the Eli Manning vs. Tom Brady contest, the nail-biter of a fourth quarter before the New York Giants defeated the New England Patriots with a score of 21-17, and the Kelly Clarkson national anthem.

But, as usual, the stars of the Super Bowl of course were the much-anticipated ads. The Acura NSX commercial featuring Jerry Seinfeld and Jay Leno, was a big hit, as was soccer star David Beckham‘s scantily clad body as he starred in an H&M ad. International singing legend Elton John starred in an other-worldly Pepsi commercial, while actor and director Clint Eastwood – yet another legend in entertainment – took to the airwaves in an ad sponsored by Chrysler, praising Detroit and the American car manufacturers for getting back to their feet, and encouraging Americans to support this vital industry.
