genConnect on The Road to London 2012

The London 2012 Olympics is coming to New York.

On Wednesday, April 18, genConnect.com will be accredited media in New York City’s Time Square for the U.S. Olympic Committee’s Road to London Celebration, presented by Hilton Honors. April 18 marks the 100-day countdown to the Opening Ceremony of the 2012 Olympic Games. The Road to London Celebration will transform Times Square into a festive Olympic Village for one remarkable day, complete with dozens of athletes, sport demonstrations, giveaways, autograph sessions, interactive sport experiences, and more than just a touch of London. April 18 will awaken the spirit of the Olympic and Paralympic Games throughout New York City, shining a spotlight on the inspiring stories of the athletes who make up Team USA.

genConnect will interview dozens of Olympians, Paralympians and hopefuls about their Olympic dreams, and how they are going to achieve them this summer.

“The Olympics are truly inspiring, and the athletes participating in the 2012 London Games are not only the best at what they do, but they themselves serve as inspiration for younger generations of future Olympic hopefuls,” said genConnect CEO Nancy Spears. “genConnect is honored to have the opportunity sit down and talk with these athletes who make the Games what they are, and to share their stories with the world.”
