Looking for a good bottle of wine but not sure where to start? Don’t be afraid to ask, says Hanna Winery & Vineyards’ Christine Hanna. Pairing wine with a food can help you pick the right vino, but if you are still unsure, ask an expert at your local wine store what the best bottle is for your meal or event. Watch Hanna explain more about how to find a good bottle of wine and which one to pair with goat cheese or salad:

“Don’t be afraid to tell people what your price point is. They won’t be offended,” Hanna says, when going to your local wine retailer to ask for help. “Just be really clear – and you normally get great recommendations.”
As for what to serve this season, crisp white wines, like a Sauvignon Blanc, can pair well with goat cheese, sushi, seafood, or even salad, Hanna says.
