Food & Wine pulled out all the stops for their 30th Anniversary Food & Wine Classic in Aspen last weekend. And with so much fantastic food and wine, along with many entertaining chefs and sommeliers, it is hard to choose just a few favorite moments. In addition to annual event favorites like the Classic Cook-Off with Sissy Biggers and the daily Grand Tastings, Food & Wine rolled out a few new event to celebrate three decades as a leader in the industry. Those included a charity 5K featuring Bobby Flay to raise money for Wholesome Wave, a Last-Bite Late-Night Dessert Party hosted by “Top Chef” judge Gail Simmons and pastry chef Johnny Iuzzini, and a 30th Anniversary concert headlined by Elvis Costello & The Blue Beguilers.
