Say goodbye to boring gift-giving and add personality to your gifts. Watch Stylist and designer Carson Kressley share his creative tips for the holiday season with Real Simple Managing Editor Kristin van Ogtrop:
Giving the right gift, that is also affordable, can be a stressful part of the holiday season. But it doesn’t have to be! Shopping early and sticking to a list is a great way to reduce the holiday stress and save a little money. And what more of a perfect place than the Real Simple Pop-Up Shop which offers unique and budget-friendly gifts (their gift guide features products all under $50!)
“I shop throughout the year and look for special places like this, the Real Simple Pop-Up Shop, because they have unique items,” Carson said. “I’m not one that gives gifts that are very boring. I don’t usually give a sweater or a scarf, I like it to have a little more personality. So things like this can be great because they are inexpensive and fun.”

Charity is also a great way to give and give back this holiday season. “I don’t need anything so a lot of times I will pick a charity I work with,” Carson said. “I actually sent all my agents a letter for a charity I work with called the Al D. Rodriguez Liver Foundation that said, ‘Don’t buy me anything and just send a check to them.’”
