Walter Isaacson is arguably the premier biographer of our time. The president and CEO of the Aspen Institute – which puts on the Aspen Ideas Festival each year – has crafted best-selling biographies on Henry Kissinger, Benjamin Franklin, and Albert Einstein. We spoke to Isaacson when he was working on a biography on Apple co-founder and CEO, Steve Jobs, who passed away on Oct. 5, 2011.  Jobs, the genius behind the company that has revolutionized how we use technology, is perhaps the most exciting subject for a biographer of our generation. Sales of Isaacson’s book are expected to skyrocket.

“We spent a lot of time taking walks and talking,” Isaacson told us at the 2011 Aspen Ideas Festival.
