Salty & Sweet: 3 Great Food & Wine Pairings (VIDEO)
Can’t quite figure out what wines to serve with your dinner or snack? Andrea Robinson, master sommelier and wine pro for Delta Air Lines, offers three tips, first of which, is: Don’t sweat it. “It’s hard to go wrong,” she told genConnect. “Food and wine are natural partners … when you put them together, you get fireworks, no matter what wine it is and what dish it is.”

When in doubt, try a Riesling, especially over the coming months.
“Summertime is the time to discover Riesling,” Robinson said. “It is the great pairing grape. Look for Trocken Riesling from Germany if you want dry but also look for Alsace Riesling and Rieslings from Austria and Washington State. Between ten and twenty dollars, you are going to get amazing quality for the money.”
