After spending a night at Travel + Leisure‘s Global Bazaar, we were inspired to plan a vacation! Global Bazaar guest and Six Senses Resorts & Spa founder Sonu Shivdasani discussed his resort and spa management company with genConnect. With properties in 5 countries including Maldives, Thailand, Vietnam, Oman, and Jordan, who could resist learning more? Watch Shivdasani explain how Six Senses offers luxury for those used to city-life:
“The philosophy is intelligent luxury,” Shivdasani told genConnect of the Six Senses Resorts & Spa’s mission. “By intelligent luxury what we mean is we are looking at the Latin derivative of intelligent to try and question and challenge what is truly luxurious for people today because the wealthy of today come from a totally different context than the wealthy of the 19th and early 20th century. In the post-blackberry age, most of the wealthy are entrepreneurs or executives living in big cities, exposed to pollution, stress and traveling 300 hours a year.”
