I am a big fan of girl singers, past: Ella, Sarah, Nina, Dinah, Carmen, and present: Barbra, Dianne, Cassandra, Diana, Nancy, Natalie, and especially Patti. Patti exemplifies the caliber of performer who is not only a successful, disciplined musician, but is also dedicated to creating a legacy of wonderful music. She has a deep and broad understanding of the industry, based on years of lessons learned, and is willing to share her remarkable knowledge. So, I was cheered to hear that Patti is among those judging the BET sponsored jazz singing competition.
