‘A Tremendous Set’ of Environmental Challenges (VIDEO)

The Aspen Environment Forum (AEF) is where the greatest minds on the environment come together to make progress on some of the most pressing issues facing our planet. Watch Geoffrey Dabelko, director of the Environmental Change and Security Program at the Woodrow Wilson International Center, talk about how AEF is opening conversation around the Earth:

The Aspen Environment Forum brought together experts from all over the globe and from many different angles – private sector and public sector – with varying interests and industries. The common thread? An interest in discussion and addressing environmental issues, Dabelko said.

“What has also been very valuable is, there’s a sense of self-reflection that we have a tremendous set of challenges and we’re not yet really succeeding in addressing them,” he added. “What we’ve been doing isn’t necessarily getting us where we want to get. …So we have to find ways to do things different.”
