Energy Efficiency Is the ‘First Fuel of All the Fuel Types’ (VIDEO)

When it comes to the environment, there are many things businesses can do to give back to Earth and cut back on their carbon footprint. Watch Heather Quinley, Director of National Stewardship Strategy for Duke Energy, talk about how Duke Energy is working with non-profits on climate adaptation and engaging in other energy-saving initiatives:

Duke Energy has a variety of energy-efficiency programs in residential, commercial and industrial markets – such as distributing CFL bulbs, peak shaving programs, auditing businesses’ energy efficiency programs, and others.

“We like to think of energy efficiency as the first fuel of all the fuel types of power generation we supply,” Quinley said.
