Animal rights activist and Our Hen House founder Jasmin Singer is helping animals in more ways than one. With a daily blog, a weekly podcast and an interactive video page, Singer hopes to create a new world for animals. Watch Singer explain the resources available:

“Our Hen House … is a multimedia hub of opportunities to change the world for animals,” Singer told genConnect. “We believe that everyone, no matter who you are or what your background is, can seamlessly plug animal advocacy into your everyday life.”
Singer co-founded Our Hen House with her partner, Mariann Sullivan, in January 2010, and since then, the two have built a loyal and passionate online community dedicated to serving animals and animal rights.

“We felt like everyone wants to get involved with changing the world for animals but they don’t necessarily know where to start,” Singer added. “So hopefully, Our Hen House can be that for you.”
