Tory Burch is CEO and designer of the luxury lifestyle brand Tory Burch, which she launched in 2004. Her collection is available at 67 boutiques, online, and in more than 1,000 select department and specialty stores across the globe. Burch has received recognition from the fashion industry, including being named Accessory Designer of the Year in 2008 by the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) and Glamour’s 2011 Woman of the Year award. In 2010, she was named one of Forbes magazine’s Most Powerful Women in the World.
An avid philanthropist, Burch in 2009 launched the Tory Burch Foundation to empower women and families through microfinance and mentoring in the United States. She is also on the board of the CFDA, the Society of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, the Startup America Partnership, and Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
