TeachAde: Back-to-School Help for Teachers
Social media collaboration site for teachers help them get into back-to-school mode
Founded TeachAde.com seven years ago when she found a school in Fisher Island, off the coast of Miami, and she was talking to the teachers to find a way for teachers to network to other teachers. It's a way for teachers to connect with other teachers -- share curriculum ideas, support teachers. Teachers on average spend $1,000 year on their classrooms and they can't afford that.
You can go TeachAde.com, put in your highschool location, the teacher -- and a regular person can then donate to that particular teacher. You can do a general donation to a school too. When the teacher receives the money, they can go shop online at 300 stores.
