Dr. Alan Tepp is a Clinical Psychologist who received his doctoral training in Clinical Psychology at the Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, IL and obtained Post-doctoral training in Child and Adolescent Psychology at the Yale University School of Medicine.
Dr. Tepp began his training in Psychology as an undergraduate at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois where he received degrees in both Psychology and Learning Disabilities. He has previously held academic appointments at the Western Connecticut State University in Danbury, Connecticut and has taught Medical Students at the Westchester County Medical Center, in Valhalla, New York. Dr. Tepp has served as the President of Psychologists in Hospital Practice, and is currently a member of the American Psychological Association, the New York State Psychological Association, and the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology. Dr. Tepp is also frequently sought by area attorneys as an Expert Witness and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Forensic Examiners. He maintains a license to practice psychology in the State of New York. Dr. Tepp served as the Director of Consultations and Evaluations at Four Winds Hospital, in Katonah, New York from 1994 to 2006, and is currently a Consulting Psychologist at the Northern Westchester Hospital Center in Mt. Kisco, NY. He maintains a private practice for the evaluation of children and adolescents with learning and emotional disorders, in Mount Kisco and Fishkill, NY, as well as Ridgefield, CT and has consulted with, and offered professional presentations for school districts throughout the New York State area.
