About Angela Messer

Based in the Washington-Baltimore area, Booz Allen Hamilton Senior Vice President Angie Messer leads the firm’s Army business within the broader defense market, including Army Headquarters, Army Material Command (AMC), Forces Command (FORSCOM), Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), Installation Management Command (IMCOM), and in many PEOs, Direct Reporting Units, and Army Service Component Commands.

A sought-after speaker, Ms. Messer has been featured at events for AFCEA, the US Army Women’s Foundation, US Military Academy at West Point – NCEA Conference, and the 2010 Washington Ideas Forum, among others.

A former US Army officer, Ms. Messer has also worked as an account executive for a commercial organization in Australia. She later managed two major commercial businesses and launched a software development company. As a second generation Cuban-American, she supports multiple diversity and volunteer initiatives for Latin American leaders, Senior African American Mentoring circles and Wounded Warriors and Veterans. She’s an active Board member for the DC Metro United Service Organizations (USO), a nonprofit, charitable corporation providing morale, welfare and recreation-type services to uniformed military personnel and their families.

Ms. Messer is a West Point Military Academy graduate who earned a B.S. degree in Engineering Management and holds an M.S. degree in Management from the Florida Institute of Technology.
