As a host of NBC's "Today" along with Matt and Ann and also it's weatherman, Al Roker has the undivided attention of the nation (over 32 million viewers per week) every weekday morning as America prepares for work. His daily encounters with visitors from across America on the sidewalks outside Studio 1-A are a highlight of "Today." Al's on-air duties involve much more than the weather. As a co-host of "Today", he conducts interviews with celebrities, newsmakers and just plain people from around the world and a wide variety of segments on every imaginable subject. Al is a nine-time Emmy winner who developed a continuing series for "Today" called "Today's Dad," featuring parenting tips for fathers. He is the host of many major NBC Network Specials, such as the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Christmas Tree Lighting at Rockefeller Center, and The Rose Bowl Parade. They are all extremely successful. Al has hosted his own talk show on CNBC, aptly titled, "Al Roker", and was the host of MSNBC's information quiz show, "Remember This?", which earned him a 1997 Daytime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Game Show Host, the only cable program up against the major network entries. According to the NY Post, Al Roker "is the best-known and the best-loved weatherman in the world!
